Olympic Trap (OT)

Olympic Trap is one of the most challenging clay shooting disciplines, with targets launched from 15 traps set in a trench in front of the shooters.

Targets are released at very high speeds and at a wide variety of angles, heights, and trajectories, meaning competitors do not know where the target will appear. Shooters fire at a single target from each stand before rotating through five shooting positions.

Quick reactions, precise gun handling, and strong mental focus are essential for success. Olympic Trap is the highest level of international trap competition and is regarded as one of the toughest disciplines in the sport.
